Vehicle Inspection and Training Services (VIATS) is based in the Midlands and operates throughout the United Kingdom and Europe. VIATS has a network of dedicated inspection experts, EX-DVSA Vehicle Examiners/Traffic Examiners, Station PTO's and Technical Trainers. Our staff have over 40 years of experience in extensive fleet maintenance programs to highest standards including VI, VOSA, DVSA and DfT fleet management experience.

Daniela Rathke

Technical Trainer/ IRTEC Assessor

Iam a qualified PSV Engineer and Electrician spending many years working on different makes of buses and coaches, as well as a period with motor caravans and a variety of VW cars and vans.

I joined VOSA and worked as a vehicle Inspector , moving up to Professional Technical Officer in the Midlands, before becoming a Technical Trainer At VOSA's Training branch. I was based in the new Test Station in Avonmouth /Bristol, which also held the new HGV/PCV training facility, but also delivered at VOSA's other Training Centre in Chadderton/Manchester or at customers premises.

I started VIATS in 2011 in order to ensure that the Haulage and Passenger Transport trade still got the relevant information and training they need. I have a number of qualifications in vehicle repair and maintancne including being a fully qualied A1 Assessor, and have delivered a range of different NVQ's and BTEC’s.

In 2014 I also qualified as an IRTEC Assessor. I enjoy teaching and helping business keep compliant, which could be inspectiing HGV/PCV or delivering the inspection training courses to the industry. I have been delivering training as well as inspecting vehicles in Europe and the UK including the islands.
